We typically view the project site and provide an estimate to the potential client. After the estimate is delivered and the client wants to move forward we will send contract paperwork out reflecting the estimate value. Afterward, we begin the process of sourcing all the labor and materials for the job. At this point the project moves along and we monitor the project’s progress as tasks are completed. Once complete, we walk the project site with the client to ensure that work was performed to their satisfaction. After everyone is happy with the finished product, we guarantee workmanship for a full calendar year thereafter.

Both owners have their bachelors degree. One owner, Jared, has his PMP and the other, Sheridan, is a law school graduate

Octopus Project Management was built from two close college friends who worked in the construction industry with an idea of how to make the whole process more streamlined. The focus is always on construction, but most important is the client’s experience.

We’ve worked with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients ranging from hospital and medical facilities to retail remodels.

Do research. The least expensive job is not always the best, and the most expensive is not always the highest quality. Experience has shown that a good relationship between the client and contractor makes most jobs move smoothly. Even though the relationship is transactional on its face, both parties work together to create something new.

Think about what you want the end result to be as well as a realistic timeline in which your project can be completed. In addition, think of the type of work you want performed. For example, exterior work is seldom performed in the rain, certain flooring work necessitates some baseboard work.
